As of tomorrow, it'll be 13 days until my 20th birthday. I don't know whether to be excited for intimidated by this face. By turning 20, I'll no longer be a "teenager" but a "young adult". Some days, I wish I was 16 again and back in high school. Or if I had the chance to re-live my life over again, I think I would take that chance. Or re-live it in my favorite book or TV show or movie...
Well, enough of that crap. lol!
I have a math test tomorrow. I think that I'm ready, but last time I said that, I got a C on my test. Maybe if I say that I'm not ready, I'll get a B? lol! ;)
Well, more later

Newest House Guest
So, if anybody actually reads my blog, if you'd remember my earlier posts about Skyler. He's coming to live with us again after he fucked up (again) in Bend. I'm not going to go into great detail about it, all's I'm going to say is that he fucked up. He's going to be staying in the basement (I remember that Goosebumps book "Don't go into the basement"--ha) because their's an extra bedroom down there. It stays warmish down there.
School is going okay. I had my first math test today. I don't have any expectations on how I did. Why? Well, because math isn't my favorite or strong subject and I usually end up getting C's on my test's anyway.
Blah. Anyway...

Sleep
Blah. I've been sleeping a hella lot better now. I've started taking Melatonin. With that, today before math I noticed that my hands were more red. My hands are usually... "pale". I told my mom and she said that I'm getting more blood circulation into my hands--which is a good thing, I guess. Lol.
I've been more... energized in the morning. I've been sleeping really hard at night and I wake up feeling... "rested" as we'll call it. I'm glad my friend suggested that I take it. Yesterday and Today were the first two days I've taken a nap since I started to take the Melatonin.
Anyway, I'm going to bed.
Peace out,
~Rio

Books, College, and Ranting
Do you think having 11 boxes of books is too many? People probably have waaaaaaaaaay more than I do, but I'm just asking. Do you think so? My friends keep saying, "You should get a NOOKbook instead of reading the paper copies!" I might. But I'll still read the paper copies! Right now, I have 7 different books going. When I tell people that, they're always like, "How do you keep track of all those books and characters and stuff?!" I just shrug and reply, "It's taken me awhile, but it's just automatic now. You read one book, put that one away for a change of pace and get lost in that story for awhile." It's no big deal. I love to read. My mom got me hooked on reading because growing up, SHE was always reading a bunch of different books.
Winter quarter is going off with a good start. I'm actually understanding my math homework and the material! I like more "lecture" style math classes. I tried to do without it Fall quarter, but I couldn't do it. The reason I prefer lecture style math classes is because the teacher writes on the board, he goes over the homework (asks if anybody has any questions and goes over the ones that people do), and etc. My English class is going along okay. I'm still getting a feeling for the new teacher, but she's not as bad as the Mythology teacher (Thank GOD!). My Philosophy teacher is just awesome. She makes the class fun. I had her for Phil 101. I wish I could take an Ethic's class from her, but I need to get my shit done!
For Spring, I'm going to take:
English 102
Math 95
Science
Tone Zone
For Summer:
Science
Tone Zone
Science
Fall:
Tone Zone
Science
College level math (If required)
See? Nothing to worry about! Pfffffffft! YEAH RIGHT! THREE sciences?!?!?! That's BULLSHIT! *sighs* :/ I want to get into EWU (Eastern Washington University). Dammit... Grrrr! I'm hoping to be done by 2014. (I know, I know. 2013 JUST started! Sheesh!)
Well... Off to read..
Peace out,
