Home for the Weekend
Hey all,
So I came home for the weekend! It's so nice! I really needed this break away from Campus and the Dorms and everything. It's super cool to not DO anything! It seemed like I was CONSTANTLY doing something at school--either it's going to classes, having dinner/lunch/breakfast with friends, laundry, etc. It's nice to just do....Nothing.
I did bring home my dirty laundry... Isn't it tradition for college students to bring home their dirty laundry? lol! :) It's nice to do it for free, though. I mean, it's 1 dollar to wash, and 1 dollar to dry.
It's also nice to sleep in my own bed! I missed it. It was so soft and comfortable.... I could go on and on...
When I left, my room was messy, but I cleaned it and organized my bookshelf. I now have a shelf full of manga, and another one half full. :) I'm slowly rebuilding my manga collection. :)
Mom and I are going to WalMart tomorrow (I really want to check out their Christmas stuff! So I can decorate my room with it!). I'm also going to be getting some groceries to take back up with me--so I'm not constantly eating out at places.
I saw my grandparents and uncle today. :) That was nice--they were all plesently surprised. First words out of my grandmother's mouth were: "Oh My God!" Then hugged me tight. She told me (Since last night was Halloween), that "It wasn't Halloween without Sam here". That made me feel loved. When we got to my uncles, he didn't even see me. Haha. I said, "I'm back!" and he grinned and said, "Hey you!" And then hugged me tight when I was leaving.
I'll be back on Thanksgiving and then Christmas. Mom told me I was going to get spoiled over Christmas...lol!
My little brother wasn't here... He was with his other "sister" for the weekend, but he should be coming back tomorrow. I bet he's grown a little bit. It's been a month since I've seen him.
Wow... An entire month has passed since I've been away at college. But now it's only 25 days until Thanksgiving! Speaking of... The 25 days of Christmas should be airing on ABC! I wish we had cable at my house.... T_T
Anyway, this is just an update. lol. Obviously. I really missed home and I kind of don't want to leave tomorrow night.
