Walking Dead!!
Hey y'all,
Wow... I haven't posted since June, huh? It's October now! WALKING DEAD IS ON TONIGHT! SEASON 6!!! I'm super excited. I've been waiting since the end of Season 5 for this. Every Sunday. Fuck yeah! I'm so stoked. I mean, wouldn't you be?

They were talking about killing off a main character this season, and I really hope that it isn't Daryl.Better not be! The last time they talked about it, they came out with shirts and shit that read:
See? Daryl is important! It's going to be interesting to see where this season goes. With all the interviews I've watched, the actors said that it was going to be more emotionally trying than the previous seasons. Oh no! More emotional trauma! Don't you just love it?! Also, I'm curious to see where they take Judith.
Not to spoil anything, but in the comic, Judith dies with Lori during the prison attack, and Rick loses his hand. Not to mention, several characters have different storylines. But I guess this is TV, and they can't add everything. But! They did do something right during the last season that followed the comic book.
They had this in the comic where both Rick and Pete go through the window. Good scene. Well played by the actors!
Anyway, stay tuned for the Season 6 Walking Dead premiere tonight on AMC!!!!!!!!!

Summer Vacation and Update
Hey all,
Just thought I would give you an update!
I passed Spring quarter (Thank God)! Whoo-hoo! My last final was on June 8th, and I left June 9th, at 10AM. It's so nice being home, unless you count the step-dad constantly finding something to bitch and complain at. But, July 1st, I'm going back to Minnesota to see my family (Who I haven't seen in about... 7 years). It'll be weird to be back in my original time zone. They're... 3 hours ahead of me. I'm on west coast time, and they're central, I think.
I'll be there for 12 days. I know, it's not a lot, but at least it gets me out of this house. I'll be a senior in the fall, and I'll graduate with my BA in History, and then I'll (hopefully) go onto grad school to become a librarian! I'm excited! :)
I've had time to read so many books, I'm so thankful for that! I love reading, maybe that fuels my passion for being a librarian. You know, I would love to work at Barnes and Noble one day. I told the cashier that and she laughed and said, "Don't do it! It's a trap!" Then I said, "I would probably get fired for reading the new books instead of shelving them" Then she told me that she's gotten in trouble a few times for reading on the job. Hey, booklovers unite, right?
Anyway, I think that's it for now. More later, maybe!

Back to the Grind
Hey all,
As many of you know, I was on Spring Break. Now, break is over and today was the last day. :(
Tomorrow is the beginning of Spring Quarter where I'll be taking 20 credits (4 classes). I took 4 classes at my old Community College, but taking 4 classes at University level is going to be different and harder. I guess I'll just take it a day at a time--that's about all I can do. Plus, they don't really do anything the first couple days (or is it just day? Psh. Who knows).
I got a call from my dad while I was packing this afternoon and he told me that he's going to be watching Wrestlemania. (It's a wrestling thing, for those of you who don't know). I hope The Undertaker wins his match--even if he is getting old. Randy Orton won his match (He's one of my favorites, too). He's been texting me the results of the matches.
Honestly, it's weird being back here. When I walked in the door, it smelt like it did when I first moved in--new. My roommate isn't here and she won't be here until tomorrow or Tuesday. It'll be nice to have the room to myself for a little bit. Not many people have come back yet--well, not that I've seen. They'll probably come back tomorrow or later tonight. Some people are already back.
Oh, tonight is the season 5 finale of The Walking Dead. I love that show. I hope they don't kill off any of my favorite characters!!! It's 90 minutes. Oh, another one of my shows is on--Poldark. It's a BBC show (I think). It has Aiden Turner in it--For those of you who don't know who he is, he played Kili in The Hobbit and John Mitchell in Being Human.
I got a new wallet! :D It's a Daryl Dixon wallet. I'm in love with it. :)
Well, that's it for now! I'll try to get back on when I can.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Hey all!
Just thought I'd stop by and wish you a Happy St. Patrick's Day! I can't believe it's here already! It's finals week now... I finished my Japanese final today and I have my last one on Friday. I have to submit my paper, but it's not due until 5pm. Then, I'll be on Spring Break! I can't believe school is almost over!
I'm going back to Minnesota this summer to see my family. It's going to be an adventure, I'll tell you that much!
Remember, don't drink too much green beer and if you do, don't drive drunk! Always have a DD (Designated Driver) and be safe!

Birthday and Valentine's Day
Hey all!
Today's my 22nd birthday! To imagine! Being 22... Which reminds me...
Also, on Valentine's Day, my friend and I are going to watch movies (3 day weekend, no school on Monday) and eat a bunch of junk food--because why not? We're allowed! It's going to be the best damn Singles Awareness Day ever!!!!

Happy New Year and New Year Resolutions!
Hey all,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Today is the first day of 2015! There's been quotes on Facebook saying, "Today is the first day of a new book. Write your own story" or something like that. Where did 2014 go? Fall quarter, I got about a C-average GPA. (I got 3 C's and 1 A). I'm an A-B student with a 3.-- GPA. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that I passed my first quarter at a University, but still.
My New Year Resolutions?
- Study harder. Don't slack off, just because I thought it was "easy" and I thought I "knew" what I was doing. Clearly, I was wrong. If I need to study, then I need to set aside the time and study. To be the best that I know I can be.
- Lose weight. I know that everybody makes this every year, but I'm going to lose weight so I can fit into my jeans. I'm going to try and eat healthier, so I'm not eating junk food all the time.
- Be happy with myself. Don't worry or care about what other people think about me. Why should I care? I can't pay my bills with their opinions. If they don't have anything better to do with their time than to make fun of me/mock me/whatever, then it's not my problem. I will have the self-esteem to do my best and to do what I feel is right for myself.
- Be bolder. Not in the sense of doing illegal things, but to quit letting opportunities pass me by, because I'm too shy to speak up. If I see something that's beneficial to myself, then I'm going to take it.
- Be more involved in my Dorm. My CA throws different activities, and I've had to miss out on them (because of studying, shyness, etc.) and I won't this year. I'm going to become more involved and make more friends!
- Be a better friend. I'm going to try to be there for my friends if I haven't been there before. Yes, some friends can be annoying and all you want to do is to be left alone, but they're still your friend(s). Better to be there and suffer through it, than to not be there at all.
Well, I think that's it.
